Privacy Policy

Monday Morning Reset is a small, independent podcast run by one person. This page explains, plainly, what data is collected and how it's used — for the website, the podcast itself, and the show's Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Who runs this

Monday Morning Reset is written, produced, and run by Pete Thorpe. For any privacy question or request, contact [email protected].

The website

You can browse the archive, read episode descriptions, and listen to or download episodes without creating an account or handing over any personal information.

The site uses a self-hosted, cookie-free analytics tool to understand roughly how many people visit and which episodes get listened to — page views, approximate device type, and general location inferred from IP address. It does not use tracking cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and the data is never sold or shared with advertisers. It's used for one purpose only: understanding whether an episode landed.

The "Buy Me a Coffee" button on this site is a third-party widget (Ko-fi). If you click through and support the show, that interaction is governed by Ko-fi's own privacy policy, not this one.

The podcast feed

The RSS feed (and the episodes themselves) are delivered the same way any podcast is — through whichever app or platform you use to listen (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music, Deezer, Podcast Index, and others). Each of those platforms has its own privacy policy governing what they collect about you as a listener; this site has no visibility into that.

Facebook & Instagram

The show's Facebook Page and Instagram account are managed using Mixpost, a self-hosted social media scheduling tool that Pete Thorpe runs and controls directly — not a third-party service, and no data from it is sold or shared with anyone else.

Through Meta's Pages and Instagram APIs, this tool is used to:

  • Publish posts to the Page and Instagram account on the show's behalf
  • Read engagement and insights (likes, comments, reach) for the Page and Instagram account, to understand how posts perform
  • View and respond to comments on published posts

This access is limited strictly to the show's own Page and Instagram account. It is not used to read or store data about the personal profiles of people who follow, comment on, or interact with the Page — only the content and engagement metrics of the Page itself. No data obtained this way is used for advertising, sold, or passed on to any third party.

If you interact with the Page or Instagram account directly (commenting, messaging, following), that interaction is also governed by Meta's own Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

This site and show are not directed at children, and no personal information is knowingly collected from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Given the size and simplicity of this show, changes are expected to be rare.
